Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
RentAI is operated by YNOT.NOW ("we", "us", "our"). Our website is accessible at rentai.now. For privacy matters, contact us at legal@rentai.now.
2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you submit an enquiry, register interest in a staff member, or apply to be a creator, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Company name (optional)
- Notes or messages you choose to include
- Hire timeline preference (optional)
This information is transmitted via Web3Forms (web3forms.com) and delivered to our inbox at hire@rentai.now. Web3Forms processes submissions on servers in the United States. Their privacy policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.
2.2 Automatically Collected Data
We do not run analytics software, advertising pixels, session recording, or behavioural tracking. Our site is served via GitHub Pages, which may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp) as part of their infrastructure. GitHub's privacy policy applies: github.com/privacy.
2.3 Fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser loads a font, Google receives your IP address. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies and does not use font requests to build user profiles. See Google Fonts FAQ on privacy.
2.4 Cookies and Local Storage
We store a single preference in your browser's localStorage to remember whether you have acknowledged our cookie notice. We do not set any advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the information you submit solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry or interest registration
- Assess applications to our Creator Studio
- Communicate about services relevant to your request
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your personal data is:
- Legitimate interests — responding to your enquiry and operating our business
- Consent — where you have explicitly provided information and submitted a form
5. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting lawfulness of prior processing
- Lodge a complaint — with your national data protection authority
To exercise any right, email legal@rentai.now. We will respond within 30 days.
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to Know — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
- Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out — we do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is currently needed
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
To submit a CCPA request, email legal@rentai.now with the subject "CCPA Request". We will respond within 45 days.
7. Data Retention
Form submissions delivered to our inbox are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain a reasonable business record, typically no longer than 2 years. You may request deletion at any time by emailing legal@rentai.now.
8. International Transfers
Our form processing service (Web3Forms) operates in the United States. By submitting a form, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on the adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses where applicable.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we handle. Our site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted securely to Web3Forms over TLS. We do not store form submission data on our own servers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
